Diethylmethylenediamine is usually a mixture of two isomers (approximately 76% of 3,5-dioctyl-2,4-diaminotoluene and 24% of 3,5-dioctyl-2,6-diaminotoluene). This structure endows it with some key properties: 

Good compatibility: It can well dissolve with polar organic solvents such as polyether and polyester polyols, which makes it easy to be processed in the formulation. 

Moderate solubility: Slightly soluble in water. The solubility at 30℃ is approximately 23 grams per liter. 

Stable physical properties: Its density is approximately 1.022 g/cm³, with a relatively high boiling point of around 308-310°C and a flash point exceeding 140°C. This indicates that it is relatively stable at room temperature, but it should be kept away from high temperatures and open flames.
